TutorCall Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to run the service: account details (or an anonymous device-based identifier if you use the app without signing in), device and app information, usage and learning activity, your messages to AI tutors, and — when you use voice calls — short-lived audio and its transcript. We also store the learning data you generate, such as level-test results, mission and practice outcomes, and identified strengths and weaknesses.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and personalize your AI tutoring experience, improve our services, and communicate with you about the app.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data based on your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interests in improving the service.

4. AI Conversation and Voice Data

Your text conversations and voice-call transcripts with AI tutors are stored to maintain continuity across learning sessions, generate your progress and feedback, and improve service quality. Voice-call audio is processed in real time to produce a transcript and is not retained as a long-term recording.

5. Data Retention

Your tutoring data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Third-Party Services and Data Recipients

To operate TutorCall we share the minimum necessary data with trusted processors under data processing agreements: AI model providers that generate tutor responses and process conversations (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI), cloud infrastructure providers, Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications), and the Apple App Store and Google Play for processing in-app purchases. We do not sell your personal data.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and analytics cookies to understand app usage patterns.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14 without parental consent. TutorCall is designed for users 14 years and older.
